Do the laptop and the router have Ethernet ports? If so you could try removing the
wireless app and use them for testing
You may be able to change some settings on your connection to eliminate or lessen
the delay
but I'm not good on the wireless stuff (I actually don’t have any wireless PCs myself)
so I can't really say
