Hi all,
Just wanted to let those in search of a little help from here that this script works
beautifully! It took me a moment to realize that I needed to execute (paste the
link...) http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts/xp_cd_dvd_fix.vbs into MS internet explorer
and NOT Firefox.... It seems to have been written for explorer in mind :) but hey-
it worked great for me and needed just one reboot. I also was messing around with
I-tunes and Quicktime last week but ended up tossing that package in the trash.
I think there's a connection with that and this problem as well. Thanks guys for
all the help :)
