re: Network Cable Unplugged Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 10:35 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Bill (1 messages posted) I have a computer that used to be plugged straight into the cable modem and worked fine, but I got another computer and a router and made a LAN. Now the old computer gives the "Not Connected" message, but the new computer connects just fine. I've tried switching the cables around, setting 100 TX Full Duplex setting on both computers and even cleaning my port, to no avail. I'm at my wits end here. Any help would be most appreciated.
