Messing with the Registry isn't for everyone. I suggest a simpler fix, one used
by every CD out there:
1. Create a text file called autorun.inf and put it in the C:\ root directory.
2. line 1: [AUTORUN]
3. line 2: icon=iconname.ico
When you do a full reboot (ie power down), Windows will use the icon you named for
the drive in Windows Explorer when you turn your computer back on.
