Had the same problem and tried many things, without success. Now fixed, thanks to
'Ask Dave Taylor.'
This extract is from his article on the subject:
'To download Autofix, go to Microsoft's download area, type autoplay in the keywords
box, and click Go. You'll see the Autoplay Repair Wizard. Download and run it, and
follow the simple instructions in the program.'
This download from Microsoft has fixed the problem, for me at least!
