Here's an easier way.....exactly like henketh's method, except no need to Download
"extract.exe" from Microsoft, since Win XP comes with a function called "expand."
1. Put your Windows 2000 installation CD in your CD Drive (D: for purposes of this
example).
2. Open cmd-prompt
3. Run the following command exactly as typed
expand D:\I386\IMAGEVUE.IN_ C:\temp\imagevue.inf
4. Browse to your C:\temp folder and right-click the "imagevue.inf" file then choose
"Install."
5. When prompted "Files Needed," browse to D:\I386
6. DONE!
Right Click on any image file, choose "open with: and you should now see IMAGE VIEWER
in your options.
Note: If you're curious where the executable was installed, just do a search for
"kodakimg.exe" ....it is most likely in a directory called C:\Program Files\Windows
NT\Accessories\ImagVue
Hope This Helps!!!
