in the end i decided to back up my registry using xp backup utillity and saved it
to my desktop.installed KB905749 every thing messed up as usuall,then restored my
registry with the backup i just made and were looking good divice manager back,and
no more server busy...switch to..screen coming up when i start photo explsion.And
no more you have updates ready to install..etc etc.
personaly id like to thank microsoft at this time for this little dittiy as i have
nothing better to do than try and keep my OS running :-)
