How do you get internet exploere to ASK before playing Media on a webpage? Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:12 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Legion5 (8 messages posted) I run windows XP on a very slow computer, and it has no isses playing Media files, but certain webpages I visit seem to saturate themselves with Quicktime or Windows Media Player files. I want to be able to stop Internet explorer from playing these, How do I do it? A simple enable, disable system. OR have it ask before it does it, because it makes loading the webpages a MILLION times slower, because it has to load up the windows media player program to play my file.
