In the past I have pressed "H" after START/TURN OFF COMPUTER.This saves my files to my hard drive and shuts my pc off. When I want to use my pc I press the power button and very quickly my machine is up and running.I like this since it shuts down and boots up much faster than a normal shut down and a normal turnon. The problem is that when I use this mode I lose my internet connection.I can get the first site ok,but I soon lose the connection if e.g. I click on a link in a web page.Everything else works fine,It's just when I use the internet. If I reboot everything works fine.My question is why does this form of hibernation cause this problem. Also this hibernation seems to be different than the one you select under "Power Options" since I don't think you need to use the power on button to awake from this type of "hibernation" Thanks for any insight on this matter eventhough it's not an earth shaking problem.
