Received an email that won't open, move, or delete

Outlook Express works fine, but I have received one email from a known sender, and it has an attachment. I've scanned for spyware and virus and found nothing unusual, but am unable to open, delete, or click and drag this particular email message into a different folder, and when I try, every single time, it locks up OE, so I have to restart. As long as I keep hands off this one message, everything runs OK. I have tried looking at the properties, and still it only locks up. This is very annoying, because who knows what kind of corruption it might contain. How do I get rid of it?
