Annoying flashing CD-like disk Monday, October 24, 2005 at 7:39 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Steve (10 messages posted) A while ago I tried find a solution to the really annoying presence of a flashing CD-like disk (at an approx 1-sec period) that is constantly flashing next to my cursor when it is an arrow. I tried the previous suggestions without any success - that was Click on the Advanced Tab and click Performance. Select Adjust for Best Performance. In the mean time, maybe someone has worked out how to get rid of this thing? I have a screen capture image of it. If you haven't seen this annoyance, you're lucky. Help in killing it greatly appreciated.
