CPU throttleing is controlled in the BIOS. Machines that were upgraded to XP have problems as the software on most of them doesn't work with XP, so that's why I asked. If there isn't an option do disable it in the BIOS, not much you can do except contact the manufacturer and register your complaint to see if they have a fix or known issue such as yours.. It's possible to have incompatibilities but it's rare. Either way, the manufacturer would have to be contacted IME.. :-( Good Luck!!
