Files & Settings Transfer Wizard Monday, October 24, 2005 at 3:40 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Sierra Data Services (4 messages posted) Hi, Can anyone out there tell me how to get the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to work in the following conditions: The original installation of windows XP Pro was corrupted to the point where I could NOT even enter it in the safe mode, so I copied (With Symantec's Ghost) the contents of the drive to another hard drive. I then wiped the original hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP and all of it's updates. Now I want to transfer all of the files and settings from that other drive (which I have attached as drive "D:") to the new installation, but the wizard doesn't configure that way. Any thoughts or suggestions other than finding ALL of the "stuff" and copying manually?
