Actually there is. There are different editions of Office: Standard Edition which
has Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Professional which has those plus Access,
Publisher and Outlook comes with a Business Contact Manager; Small Business Edition
that has everything Professional does except for Access; and there is a Standard
Student & Teacher Edition which is the same as the Standard Edition except for the
price and restrictions to purchase and use it. So that being said, if you have the
Standard Edition and the school's Professional upgrade will give you the extra programs
(Access and Publisher) it would be worth the $8.
