I think I may have figured this out. After I re-installed XP, I installed SP2 prior
to Visual Studio Enterprise Architect. One of the prerequisites that gets installed
with VS Ent Arch is IE SP1. So I think that perhaps that caused my problems.
So after another re-install, this time I have yet to install SP2 and everything seems
to be okay (for a few days now). I'm running Zone Alarm, Norton, etc, so I don't
think I'll be in any rush to re-install SP2.
