Slow loading Jpegs from W98 N/Work PC Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 2:04 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Bryan (135 messages posted) I have 2 xp systems and a Windows 98 machine all hooked up to the same router accessing internet and sharing printers and drives etc. My windows 98 system has a shared file with some jpegs in it. One of the xp systems takes a huge amount of time trying to open these jpegs. If i attempt to view thumbnails in Windows Explorer the thing takes about 10 minutes to load. There are only about 30 jpegs in this folder. The other XP system can access these files very quickley.
