WOW! A lot questions! I'm guessing that you're trying to setup your old HD as a second
drive in your new PC. I'll asume that both are EIDE devices. First make sure the
jumpers on each drive are set correctly. The HD that came with the new PC should
be set to MASTER, and the other set to SLAVE. Check each drive as most newer drives
has this info printed on them. Next you need to set the BIOS to read each drive.
On some systems this is now PnP and no settings needed. Once all of this is done,
boot up and you should see your drive in MY COMPUTER. Caution! In XP having one drive
formated in NTFS and the other in FAT32 can cause failure on FAT32 drive. Good Luck!
