okay wow, only one person actually got what i said which was that i took an 80gb
hard drive out of a dvr set top box that is connected to my home tv. i want to take
the videos i have recorded on it and put them on my home computers hard drive for
burning to dvd disc.
i forget who said it but someone said it may be content locked? whats that? umm...i
tried booting the hard drive, in other words i connected only the dvr drive to my
computer to see if it had an operating system on it and it said no operating system
found so its got nothing on it.
i do appreciate all the help that i got about installing a new drive, even tho its
not what i asked, i am definitely schooled on installing new hard drives. thanx tho.
guess i will look around on the internet. thanx again, Jen
