Windows xp not loading Friday, October 28, 2005 at 9:22 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Maribel Green (1 messages posted) Hi, My problem came out of nowhere. The message on the computer reads that " a current change in software or hardware has caused Windows to shut down". Then it gives directions on how to either press "start computer normally" or on "safe mode". However, I tried restarting the computer both ways and it doesn't work. What else should I try?
