Novell and Windows passwords Friday, October 28, 2005 at 9:27 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Judi (1 messages posted) I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the windows password box that pops up after logging onto the computer after logging onto a novell network? Every 90 days when our users go to change their password or if someone else uses their computer we can't get passed that silly windows password box. We end up using "administrator" and the corresponding admin password to get passed it but then we end up in a different windows user acct. We have found that it (the windows password box) wants the old novell password, and that if you click "change to match the password," it will usually go away but doesn't always. The only solution I can think of is to get rid of that windows password box permanently. Any other ideas? There are presently no replies to this message.
