Assuming you are asking is it safe to accept Windows Updates when you are notified
that WU are available by a ballon notice in the Notification Area (formerly known
as the system tray).
While regulars on annoyances.org continue to debate the merits of Windows Updates,
most mainstream publications, authors, and experts will tell you that Windows Updates
on the whole are a good thing.
So go ahead, get the updates when notified.
