kay, I dont think that its possible to protect the history folder, nor make an automatic backup.
I'm wondering why you would want to?
Someone keeps deleting your history? - tell them to stop!
Or..... maybe someone is hiding their own tracks and you want to know where they have been??
If so, a keylogger might be the answer?
