dvd burning question?

It is entirely possible that this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I
am currently at a loss to where else I should try.
My three year old niece has a favourite movie. I had gotten her said movie on dvd
when she was six months old. She's watched it and watched it practically every day
since. It has since gotten a crack in it. I have decided to make her a copy of mine
to send to her.
Though every time I play a dvd on my computer (winxp) in any play in the top left
corner it'll tell me the current frame, cpu useage along with input and output size.
What I am wondering is, if I go ahead and burn this, will this information also show
up on her screen therefore distracting from the movie, or is this just something
that occurs on the computer? And if that happens to be the case, is there any possible
way that I might turn it off so that I could burn this?
The movie is currently sitting on my harddrive in .avi waiting to be burned. I currently
only have Sonic Digital Media Plus 7 (which came with the system) but I'm totally
open to suggestions should there be any.
