I did a system restore and the enlarged taskbar/toolbar remained enlarged! So I undid the restore... 2. It has not affected my wife's settings - her taskbar remains nice and neat and small like it should be. So it is obviously something to do with my settings, eh? Also, nothing set to "large" in my display settings.
