Also, of course, avoid all non-alphameric characters
except the underline in Web pages. Although
browsers try to make sense of things like the '&'
in filenames, they do not always succeed and can get
thoroughly confused. In anything to do with computers
it never hurts -- and frequently saves a lot of
aggravation -- to take a conservative approach :)
