HIS computer's RAM went up from 128 MB to 256 MB so I would guess that his system
has a single 256 MB RAM module. If you want good performance from XP you should add
at least another 256 MB
Depending on what the motherboard will take you could add more. 1024 MB is quite
common. Everest will tell you what the mothrboard is. (XP Info link above.)
So you don't need to alter any BIOS settings now that you have a separate video card
you just need to add more system RAM.
So do NOT alter HIS computer's BIOS!!!
