I have the same problem. I just reinstalled windows XP Pro. The standby option was avilable and worked in the prior installation. But since I reinstalled, it just have not been there. Since it was there and worked fine, I know I am ACPI compliant and all coudl be OK. If anyone knows, please let me know what I can do. -MJ
