I have the same problem with Jerry. I did NOT install any printer, so it is IMPOSSIBLE
to find Microsoft Image Writer. I've read through all articles in this website, and
no one answered the problem I have. People keep saying deleting queues under microsoft
image writer, but this is not my case. Finally, I solved the problem by looking at
the following website: http://torque.oncloud8.com/archives/000384.html
In my case, after I deleted two files 00003.SPL and 00003.SHD under C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS,
the CPU usage of spoolsv.exe goes down to 0%.
This may not answer Jerry or Todd's problem, but at least it gives solution to those
who have spoolsv.exe problem but not install any printer. Hope it helps.
