NetBoy's advice worked for me!!!
10x
The sitation:
I had to map a locall folder on my HD as A: (on a 2000 server,
think the same is on XP); so I had to dissable the floppy in
order the console command subst to work for me. When I ennabled
the floppy again it got a F: assignment.
After the registry setting suggested by netboy, all I needed was a
restart and my floppy became A: again!!!
thanks to NetBoy
p.s. by the way I couldnot find any MS tool renaming the floopy letter
nor another workaround
