A solution to the "Initial H/W fail" error message

Dear All. I was getting the same error message (Initial H/W fail) while I was trying to install a BT878A PC-TV tuner (PCI) card. After a lot of install-unistall trials, I managed to make it working by simply DISABLING the "hyper-threading" option from the BIOS steup. Chris
