After going through almost every fix listed here, I just wanted to share with everyone
what finally did it for me.
I was about to run the AproposFix when I thought I'd take another look into my registry,
particularly, the HKLM/Software. There I found, and forgive me for not writing it
down, but it's easy to spot, was a folder label, something to the effect of C9239djhkh.
Inside the folder it listed:
Outpdate folder in C:\Programs
t2eiplus.exe Windows/System32
sweparhm.sys Windows/System32
Cmdodisc.dll Window/System32
So I booted in SAFE MODE, went into the KLM/Software Folder, deleted the files in
the directories it was referring too (including the folder in c:\programs\Outpdate\)
and then deleted the entire C9239djhkh (Not exact name) Folder in the registry.
Rebooted, and everything was absolutely normal again. I regained my Devices and Network
windows.
Hope it helps,
Fred
