Thursday, November 24, 2005 at 2:28 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Michael (2 messages posted) I am a normal computer person without great knowledge of how to get into the guts of a computer. I am also having problems with the empty device manager and no system restore capabilities. Will there be a patch or something put out by microsoft windows for the many people who don't know how to fix our own computers? I need to get back and running. I am on AOL 8.0 but my security AOL 9.0 won't work. What is going to happen with technical support - any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
