The apropos fix almost everything for me, too, and I am very grateful to you John
for all your help. I was wondering if anyone is still having trouble with their
network connections/places folder still? I see the basic stuff is back there, but
my high speed internet access from Com.net is no longer there. Yet I am connecting
just fine and it is working perfectly. I used to have an icon in the network folder
for my high speed connection and I could right click on it, and see "status", and
"repair", etc.. and that came in handy for me to be able to check the status of the
connection.
Any ideas? I've already reinstalled the software like a thousand times! The Motorola
Cable Modem IS showing up in device manager also.
Thanks everyone.
Huge hugs and mega thanks,
