After I tried every spyware/adware remover, ENUM permissions, and regsvr32 dmocx.dll,
removing KB905749 worked for me also! However, for goofs, I reinstalled it when MS
autoupdate insisted on it and it broke Device Manager again. Re-removed it and Device
Manager was OK. This is definitley something people who can't get anything else to
work need to try! Thanks to all who helped by providing input here and on other sites!
