Hi, F15hii
Why i request formatting the whole system is because i had used all available resources
on my notebook already and it seemed that there is no changes at all. I tried using
msconfig and also regedit and nothing seemed to helped me get back my device manager.
My problem might be different from others. When you plug a thumb drive into your
computer and when you wanted to remove it, you need to click on the small little
green thing at the bottom right side of the taskbar right? But mine notebook don't
have this little device. It seemed to disappear and when i check my other devices,
the device manager shows nothing at all, juz a blank page. So i called IBM and they
instruct me to reformat everything because i had used all alternative means. Anyway
are you trying to insult all engineers? I am a networking engineer. And due to using
up all alternative means and ways, the final way to get your device manager back
is to reset to factory setting.
