Compunter infection message Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 2:15 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by decebal voda (2 messages posted) I had some problems recently with viruses that sort of hoped onto my computer from various websites. I have removed the viruses with Kaspersky ani-virus program. I have also removed some spy-ware with Spy-bot, but my windows is still giving me the message that my computer is infected. The message is from the tray box in the taskbar, and it reads: "Windows has detected spyware infection. Click here to protect your computer from spyware". Associated with this message is a program called spy axe, which kept instaling onto my computer untill i got a firewall. I don't know how to get rid of it. Can anyone please help me?
