By this time, you most likely have read that Apropos.C uses rootkit techniques, discussed at: http://www.sysinternals.com/utilities/rootkitrevealer.html I suggest we see if some others may not have some idea how to detect and remove this thing. Why not try posting your problem at one of the forums noted below.  In doing so, be sure to explain all things you have tried, the removal tools and fixes you have downloaded and run, etc., and tell them that your device manager shows devices in safe mode but not in normal mode.
