In the registry the keys were unreadable and cannot be opened. This was a very long
process in going over the registry. Did you replace your registry with a working
backup copy? In my case it was a bit different as I can see my devices when in safe
mode. In your case since you cant see the devices in safe mode I would also suspect
your PnP service. Besides checking your PnP service you may want to reinstall your
drivers.
