I have recently had a problem with Windows Explorer crashing during navigation and
essentially taking the whole system down, requiring reboot. I couldnt work out what
it could have been, as nothing had changed in the hardware. I got so sick of it,
I formatted and rebuilt. The found the problem again straight up. I have narrowed
it down to this. The first time the problem surfaced, I had just installed Direct
X 9! When I rebuilt, everything worked fine until i installed Disrect X 9 again.
I have since rebuit again and did not dare to install Direct X 9. Things are working
fine!
Question, has anyone else had this experience and is there a fix, as i do require
an updated Direct X.
Cheers
