This seems to only work if you don't have SP1 or SP2. You can create a shortcut
to shutdown your computer with the "shutdown" command. Just right click somewhere
on the desktop, New-->Shortcut. Then type "shutdown -s -t 0" without the quotes.
(That is a zero not an O.) Then click Next and click Finish. When you want to shutdown
use this shortcut otherwise it will powerdown if you don't. I'm not sure but I've
heard if you have SP1 or SP2 you can disable APS in the Power Options control panel
applet and it won't powerdown the computer.
