Yap's registry patch doesn't work for me either. For one thing, it won't delete the 
BagMRU and Bags keys if they have subkeys under them, which I have. But even if I 
manually delete these keys and their subkeys in Regedit, they still pop back and 
I still can't get rid of the auto display of thumbnails. 

Is there any effective solution to this problem?
