In a rush I pulled an Ipod out of the USB prior to going into device manager and
clicking 'stop'. Now the USB's won't recognize the Ipods or my mouse. the mouse stopes
working and i get the 'storage device not recognized' message and i cant move my
mouse. We've rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled, gotten Windows updates, disabled/enabled
the USBs

everything was working fine until the Ipod was removed. Now everything comes up 'storage
device not recognized'. There's power to the ports and it attempts to read everything.

I have disabled each of the USB ports and then enabled them. Also uninstalled the
USB and then reinstalled, I've rolled back to an earlier time of day, downloaded
36 updates from microsoft. I looked for a USB driver to download, but didn't know
which sites to trust or even if that was the problem.

...any suggestions? Please help!
