I did find something that works, and it seems to have worked on two different machines
so far. As I understood it, if I modifed the Height setting in the Windows Size
group box under the Layout tab, logically, it should make the program go to 25 line
mode. It did not. I thought that the "Screen Buffer Size" dealt with a buffer only,
and nothing else. However, I found that if I set the Screen Buffer Size AND the
Window Size to 25 lines of height, it worked.
BTW, I do know how to translate DOS programs to Windows. We have spent the last
several years re-writing DOS applications into Windows. An expensive venture for
many of our customers. It's a necessary evil with regard to technological progress,
so I understand.
