Hello, I am wondering if you can shed any light on my Canon MP730 usb communication
problem. I've been using this excellent multi-function machine for about 5 months
with my e-machine, until the e-machine's power supply destroyed it's motherboard.
I now use a new Dell Dimension 3000, and it communicates fine with my other usb
devices, but not with the MP730. I've tried all the usual solutions (uninstalling
drivers, reinstalling drivers, trying different usb ports), tested the usb cable
(works fine with my other scanner), removed other printer & scanner drivers.. all
without help. I just downloaded MP730 drivers from Canon's support web pages, hoping
they might have some updates which will help.. but haven't had time to try this yet.
Thanks for any insight you might have. Brad in Sacramento, CA.
