This will help to get more SPEED out of your DCC Connection:
Get the file:
http://www.lvr.com/files/ecp-dcc.zip
This describes how to build and test an 8-bit ECP cable for Microsoft DCC usage.
(if DCC works OK already)
I did it using two used printer cables and soldering
the correct wires together. Cost: $5 from thrift store.
A patch for Microsoft's PARALINK.VXD is included.
Caution: The patch DOES NOT make a backup!
With this technique, you can hit 400,000 BYTES persec
equilivent to USB 1.0 or NIC 10 speeds.
This blows away any serial connection speed!!!
If you also want Internet connection sharing, get:
http://www.netfor2.com/DcShare42.zip
