Do you have another solution to this problem then? I have been having this problem
for several months on XP. Every time I try to open or delete a file the Windows
Installer appears, trying to install something for Symantec. When it cannot find
the disk it returns an error (unless I hit cancel repeatedly). The whole process
takes about a minute or so, and is quite annoying after a few instances. Thanks
for help.
