The only way I could uninstall windows XP and re-install windows 2000 was: 1. Change BIOS so that it boots from CD rom drive and bypass the hard drive (disable hard drive boot) 2. Then put windows 2000 cd in CD rom drive and boot up. 3. Go through agreements etc. Then delete the old partition /s including C. Then create new partition /s. 4. Format partition C and install windows 2000. Remember to backup all your old data before you do this. Good luck
