CD-RW Drive not recognizing disc in drive Friday, January 6, 2006 at 10:39 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by BGK (2 messages posted) I'm simply trying to write data to a CD. When I get to the step of physically writing to the CD, I get the error message "No disc in drive," when clearly there is. About 40% of my attempts are successful, but the other 60% of the time, it thinks there is no disc in the drive. Is this a known problem with the software? How do I resolve?
