That fix would have fixed the registry of the Viewer, if it had been at fault. That means something else is wrong. If it was me at this point I would just switch to a good 3rd party Viewer, Wait I have done that already.:). Two good choices are (infranview), and My New Favorite (xnview) both are free, and actually are better image viewers anyway. http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/xnview/enxnview.html
