Question about 'Troubleshooting Driver Problems'

I have a question about Troubleshooting Driver Problems:

I have a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra Z VE Motherboard with a Diamond x600 Pro PCI Express 16 graphics adapter. I am currently running Windows XP Media version. When I load the driver CD from Diamond for the graphics adapter, a message kicks out that Setup.exe is currently being used by another program. In Device Mangaer, there's a exclamation mark and yellow symbol in front of the video card path. Windows media DVD player sends out a message that the video drivers aren't compatible with the player. I've written to Diamond and am awaiting a reply. Any suggestions?
